Amber was born in New Mexico, is Native American from her father's lineage, belongs to the Fort Peck Sioux Tribe. Amber is of mixed ancestry because her mother is adopted. Prey has a lot of Native American actors, such as Dakota Beavers (who is Blackfeet and Comanche) and Jhane Meiers, who has been the director of Prey for years. Coco the charming animal actress that plays Sarii was chosen due to her distinctive breed of American Dingo. This breed, which is also known as a Carolina Dog, is one of the oldest breeds currently in existence.
